PREPARATORY MOVEMENTS.

Sir Ernest Sliackleton and five members of the Antarctic expedition, are going to the Norway glaciers, where blizzards similar to those which rage in the Antarctic are common. Tliey wiil test the'motor-sledges, wear Polar kits, and exist on sledging rations. The vessel Endurance arrives in London this month. She is a beautiful specimen of wooden shipbuilding. The Aurora will be, delivered at 1 joba'rt at the end of August, and sail for the Antarctic in November. Moi>t of the members of the expedition will sail in the Endurance in August.
