THE COUNCIL'S INDICTMENT. UNREMITTING DRILL. "Times" and "Sydney Sun" Services. LONDON, April 20. The Belfast military correspondent of "The Times" says: — "Ireland is impressed by the Ulster Unionist Council's indictment. The volunteers are drilling unremittingly, and have a supply of maxims and thousands of rifles. Ulster is safeguarded, but urges support for the protection of Unionists in the South and West of Ireland.", .

A CHALLENGING NOTE.

Mr Asquith, in the House of Commons, said that if .Mr Bonar Law's charge was that the Government had advised and organised a plot to promote an armed rising in Ulster, the proper place to make such a charge was in the House of Commons, and he would give him the earliest opportunity to make it.
Mr Bonar Law said lie had made the charge twice. "The country wants the truth, " lie added.
Mr Asquith said he did not know on what authority Mr Bonar Law claimed to speak for' the Country.t "Mr Bonar..J Law asked whether the promised "White Paper would contain the verbal instructions to Sir Arthur Paget and the latter's communication to the officers.
