Play was continued in the rinkas competi-. tion this morning on the Sy.denhsitt Green, when .Christchurch (Sandstein) St. Albans (Thompson) 7, thus concfittiing the second round. Semi-finals. -ty? Woolf ,19 beat Macdougall 10. Sandstein 19 beat Edwards 14. In the semi-finals Woolf's rink drew away from Macdougall early in the game, so that at the seventh head the score stood at 8 to 4in Woolf's favour. John Brown and Woolf were jointly, responsible for piling up the majority of the points, giving a fine display of accurate drawing. Although Macdougall's. rink put up a good fight, their was very, slow, their best head yielding a three. Sandstein and Edwards played a very closely-contested game, the scores being very even, throughout, so that on the thirteenth head the score stood at 13 all. ' Torrance and Sandstein for Christchurch were especially successful in their drawing,; while the Temuka skip's strength lay in his driving and trailing. At the sixteenth head Christchurch was lying a hatful when Edwards burnt the' head. In the next head Christchurch was lying two when the skips went to the mat. With his last bowl Edwards piade an unsuccessful attempt to burn the head, the match then ending -with Christchurch 5 points in the lead.

Final. Woolf 15 beat Sandstein 12, on the sixteenth. head.

-CONSOLATION MATCH.

Pour rinks entered, and United—Atkinson, Walker, M'Manaway, Fraser and Sydenham—*Faulkner, Calvert, Fewings, and Taylor tied. They will play off on Saturday on the Sydenham green.
