ARMED MEN BOARD VESSEL.
WILL GERMANY PROTEST?

The captain of the German fishing steamer Burgermeister Monckeberg states that while he was lying off Iceland, twenty-live armed men in motorboats boarded the vessel, knocked him down and shut him up in the wheelhouse. They also intimidated the crew. Subsequently a leading official fined the captain 1200 kronen, and ordered him to forfeit his nets. The caj)tain states that the first men aboard were peasants, and the seizure was illegal. It is expected that Germany will protest to Denmark.
