DRAPERS' MATCH. A cricket match was played at Hagley Park yesterday between teams representing the wholesale and retail drapers respectively. In their first innings the wholesalers made 71, Whitta 22, and Hatch 17, being top scorers. Gordon took four wickets for 38 runs, and did the '' liat trick.' ; The retailers made 262 (Patrick 92, F. Turner 62, D. Scott 74, Dunstan 19, Baker not out 17, L. Gordon 13). Edgar got five wickets for 23, and Bishop two for 42. In their second venture the wholesalers got 219 (11. Bishop 105, 11. Hatch 40, S. Iliucksman 27, F. feeynolds 21). The' teams made a indentation to L. Gordon in recognition of his bowling performance.
