MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
(Before Mr H. W. Bishop, S.M.) MAINTENANCE. Frederick Pimm, charged with being £7 in arrears with his maintenance order, was remanded until to-morrow morning, to allow of his wife giving evidence. DRUNKENNESS. William Ewing, for insobriety, was fined 10/--, with the alternative of going to gaol for 48 hours. A STOLEN DINNER. James Whyte pleaded guilty to stealing two ducks whilst under the influence of liquor. He stated that he had no clear recollection of the matter, and had no intention of thieving. He was fined 40/-, and a prohibition order was issued against him.
