LONDON, April 11.
Doctors complain that the world has gone made over radium, causing the price to rise to a extent for small hospitals.
Dr Czerny, a cancer specialist, states that four thousand cases treated by radium only gave fairly good results. He strongly discourages the abandonment of surgical treatment, because rays are ineffective at a depth of five centimetres. He suggests removal where cancer is excisable, and the use of radium as an after cure.
