All-night adventures of two girls were described at Crewe (Eng.), when Annie. May Bennett, 12, and Ellen Harvey, eight, were charged with theft. It was stated that they entered the house of Francis Pardoe, a Crewe tradesman, and, going into the shop, made tea, ate cakes, ajad cooked a quantity of potatoes. They, left at seven in the morning, taking away with them a watch and a purse containing money. Mr Pardoe had heard a noise in the shop about 11 o 'clock the previous night. The girls were bound over.
