A WARNING NOTE.
Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 21. The • Government has received from the Colonial Office a communication warning New Zealanders against the operations of a Continental gang which is working what is known as the ''Spanish Swindle," and in which a proposal is made to transfer to the dupe the fortune of a military prisoner in Spain on receipt of £IOO.
