RANGIORA SALEYARDS.

The Rangiora saleyards are the metropolitan markets in miniature, with the addition of a produce division. The fat stock put through in the course of a year run into many thousands per annum. The yards afford a splendid opportunity for marketing all farm products from butter and eggs to bullocks. During 1913 the totals of the stock put through were all follow: Sheep .. .. 162,281 Cattle .. .. 3,925 Pigs .. .. 6,193 The record number of sheep put through in one day during the year was on March 26, when 9252 were yarded.
