Regarding as a vote ofjeenattre recent resolutions passed by' otseietiags of the Auckland Tramway's Union, the management committee union has. resigned, leaving only the "secretary, who is a paid official, in office. The original factor leading to this decision was the refusal of a member to.vpay a fiue imposed by the executive on the ground that he had not been given portunity to explain his side of the case before the executive made- its decision-. The officers who resigne;t were. \ the president; two vice-presidents, the treasurer, and 20 other members of the. committee.
