HOCKEY.
TECHNICAL COLLEGE OLD BOYS.
There was a very fair attendance at the annual meting of the Christchurch Technical College Old Boys' Hockey Club. Mr C. Jones, club captain, presided. Officers for the new season were elected as follows: —President, Mr G. Scott; vice-presidents, Messrs Goldsbury, G. Park, and C. J. Goldstone; club captain, Mr L. S. Barter; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr E. W. Smith; delegate to Canterbury Hockey Association, Mr 0. Jones; executive committee, Messrs L. S. Barter, E. W. Smith, J. BrookeTaylor, C. Jones, S. Morris; selection committee, Messrs L. S. Barter, E. W. Smith, and the field captains. The making of arrangements-for th* opening day was left to the executive committee.
THE SYDENHAM CLUB. At the annual meeting of the Sydenham Hockey Club last evening, the following officers were elected: —Patron, the Rev. J. Williams; president, Mr M. Young; vice-presidents, Messrs J. Snell, G. Blood,. R. 11. Saunders, A. J. Lawrence, R. C. Congreve, W. E. Munday, H. Holland, H. Brinkinan, H. M. Bates, and Drs J. R.
