THE SUNDAY SURFERS.
To the Editor of THE SUN. Sir, —I notice ,in this SUN" that your special correspondent has r joined in the 'chorus of the scribes oh merits of the surf-bathing erowds at New Brighton, and is as smart in shouting with the majority as the rest. I venture to suggest that in' tht» ease, as in others, the minority opinion. is not entirely valueless. Many citizens ■ who are not connected with evangelical organisations find no, pleasure iu viewing the peculiar manners displayed any nne Sunday between North Beaeh and New Brighton pier. The human form ' ' is sometimes beautiful, but reiteration or so trite a phrase is n6 refutation 0f.,. the fact that, as seen at New Brighton; it is often very ugly.—l am, etc., ' " ; ' CKW ' Christchureh, March 5, 1014. ~r
