CLOSE OF EXHIBITION.

m Press Association. AUCKLAND, February 23. The closing date of the Auckland Exhibition will probably be Saturday, April 11. Discussing the matter this evening, the president (Mr George Elliott) said application had been made to the Government by the Commissioners for authority to carry on the Exhibition for two months after February 28, with a right to close it at any time within that period. In order that there should not be a loss, a weekly attendance equivalent to 10,000 adults, exclusive of season ticket-holders, would be required. So long as the attraction to the public was sufficient to maintain that standard the Exhibition would be continued, but his present opinion was that it should be dosed oh the Saturday of Easter Week.
