She beat Miss Vera Neaves world's ! record by 3min 46 l-ssce, Miss Annette Kellerman's best time for this distance, being 33m'i'n 2 3-osec. Miss Durack swam the crawl stroma throughout the first 220 yds in 2min , 59sec, equalling her own" world's record.' She swam 440 yds in Gmin 17 sec, beating her own record of 6min 42 ' sec," and the 880 yds iiT l'2mm 52"scc, another world 's record. * - .The 132.0 yds she, covered in iSihin/ Slsec, still another record.
