Mr Cann to urge the Government to take steps to amend the Arbitration Act to provide for a readjustment of the terms of remuneration and conditions of contract at present. existing. between the members of the British Medical Association and organised Friendly Societies. ■ Mr Cann promised to bring the matter before Cabinet, but said he was vot certain whether doctors could be brought under the Act, as their body ■i, -as not a registered trade union.
