DRESS DETAILS.
WHAT.MUSTJBE STUDIED. It is the Frenchwoman's ideal to be well turned out "at the extremes" — that is, to be perfect as regards her hat and hair-dressing, and irreproachable as regards her footwear, and from this women who worry considerably about dress should take comfort and consolation.' To the well-dressed woman these essential details fall naturally into her scheme of attire, but there are many women who seek to be smart and, somehow or other, always fail in their quest because they are apt to forget the importance of the. beginning and ending; of dress, and to know that eyes which find much to please them in the way in which the hair is dressed, the hat perched on top of it, and well-shod feet will often find the whole turn-out good. A busy woman once remarked that a good hat would earry a woman anywhere, and there is,much to be said for the necessity of having at least one '< really good hat in the wardrobe for special occasions, and of wearing it with some consideration for the weather.
