The British Immigration League is establishing a company to buy estates in New South Wales to erect homes and farm buildings, clear and fence the land, and make ready, so that immigrant farmers go straight from the ship •to their farms. / Mr Easton, the secretaire of the movement, leaves for April. He hopes to. have £IOO,OOO available. T*he company is to be called the I "Australian Settlement, Limited," and the profits to shareholders are limited to 6 per centum. It is proposed to sell the farms on easy terms, spreading over a long period, with no payment of principal during the first five years.
