THE WOOL SALE.
ON THURSDAY NEXT. Wool growers, and more especially those who have their clip in for the coming sale, will welcome the news of the sharp rise in wool generally at the Wellington sale. Coarse wool rose from |d to Jd per lb. At this series lambs' wool has been in strong demand. Most of the consuming centres of the world were out after the various classes suited to their several requirements. The catalogues, of the sale will be issued to-morrow.
