... ■ . ♦ T— The steamship Omeo, 1000 tons', Hugh Mackic, commander, sailed from Port Phillip Beads, at 6 p m. ; on the 11th inst., passed Swan Island at 9 p.m. the following day, experienced strong'S.E. winds the first 24 hours; sintie then, light east and S.E. .winds, with fine weather; sighted the West at 1 a.m. on the 17th, and arrived at Bluff Harbor at 6 p.m. the same day. The English Mail was telegraphed at Adelaide, as the Oir.eo was leaving Port Philip If earls. The Argus of the 13th inst. says : — Little of very special consequence has been allowed to transpire in the import markets to-day, the week having closed without adding materially to .the business reported at an earlier period. Flour has been disposed of in parcels at £lo 10s for Victorian, and up to £16 for small lots. Sa'es of wheat io a . moderate extent continue to be effected, at 6s 6d to 6s 9.1. Maizo is very steady at 4s 2J : sales, however, have not been extensive. A fair inquiry i* maintained for tea, at 2s for fine medium congou c. Holders of prepared opium have been enabled to establish a slight a Ivan ce and the price hjw realised is 255. In liquids, sales of JDKZ geneva are mentioned at 42s 6d ; and we learn that buyers of Heiinessy's case brandy have been compellfd to pay '2i7s 6d. The P.N:Z. and A.X.M. (.Vs. s.s. Rangitotp cleared Port Philip Heads at 6.30 p.m., 13th inst. Experienced fine weather with moderate head winds the whole passage, arriving: here at; 3 p.m., 18th inst., making the passage in four, days and twenty hours. She brings nineteen tons of cargo, and Mr and Mrs Pearson as paE» sengers.'
