There was a fair yarding of sheep, and prices for young .stocky were well maintained ; old ewes were neglected. „ Sheep m "VVe yarded 1780 and sold 1073, at following: -range of values : I Mixed 2tooths, small; >; -16s to 19s ; better lilies, 22s 3d; ewes', 2-tooth, 2ls 4d to 23s 6d; ewes, 5 .and'! 6 years, 1% __ to '16s >9d; cull^ewes, 7s 3d ; fat ewes, light,' 20%* to, 235; heavy 28s to 32s 4d. iWethers were well competed for • •;'■'; 2■tooths made 23s lOd, only a medium lot ; a good lot of 4-tboths made 3I& ld ; Lambs- were a. fair entry, and prices improved.
