AMBULANCE FUND.
The following amounts are acknowledged m connection with the Herald Patriotic Funds:—
Ambulance Fund : Previously acknowledged, £519 10s 6£d; Frank Bull 2s, Thos. Todd £1 Is, Miss Agnes Busby £1 Is, Mrs Busby £3, Miss McKenzie 10s, Miss Robinson 55, . Gisborne Racing Club £25 ; total, £550 9s 6£d.
Belgian Fund : Previously acknowledged, £537 13s 6d : Nurse Ratcliffe 2s, M.H. 10s, Mafeking House £1 11s, McLeod Sawmilling Co. (Ltd.) £4 -, total, £543 16s 6d.
In sending the contribution of £25 from the Gisborne Racing Club, a suggestion was • made, by the secretary of the club (Mr H. E; Doddj, namely, that representations should be made to the authorities that when, the war is terminated the .ambulance should be returned to Giaborne for use of the local hospital.
