THE NEW ZEALAND POLICY. (Press Assn.—By Telegraph— Copyright.) (Received Dec. 8, 10.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, December 8. The "Minister of Defence stated tliat he had noticed with considerable satisfaction that the New Zealand Minister of Defence had declared himself dissatisfied with the departure from the IS" agreement. To those who take a serious view of the Pacific question it must be pleasing that New Zealand was apparently anxious tliat its efforts m the direction of naval defence should take place a little nearer its own shores.
