UNION UKASE IGNORED.
DESCRIBED AS GAME OP BLUFF. BOYCOTTING THE UNION CO.'S BOATS. (Press Assn.— By Telegraph— Copyright.) SYDNEY, this day. The wharf laborers continue to boycott the Union Co's boats other than those m the New Zealand' run despite the ukase of the conferences. Mr Hughes states that unless the ukase is obeyed he will have a test which is stronger the "Red Raggers" or unionism. On the other liand the president of the Wharf Laborers' Union declares that the conference is trying a game of bluff. It is, he states, absurd to threaten members with suspension. c- The Pelaw main eoljiery is idle, owing _^to the management's inability to get T coal away from Newcastle. Other pits are suffering to a less extent.
