DISTRICT MATCHES. In continuation of the district matches m connection with tihe Gisborne Bowling Club, the Whataupoko links, which lost to Kaiti Jaet Thursday, met City this aftei'noon. The teams were as follows, City being mentioned first: — J. Pettie, Thelwali, Woc/tton, and. R. Robertson (skip) v. Seymour, Hookey, Corson, and Crawford (slap). Colebrook, Ha.ms, Smith, and L. Brown (skip) v. Bullock, Greig, Coleman, and Simson (skip). At 3.30 seven heads had been played, the scores then being : Brown Iv. Simson 7; Robertson 6 v. Orawford 6.
