WEATHER FORECAST. The report issued last night states:— "Present indications are for southerly winds, strong to gale generally; very cold and saually weather with heavy showers m most parts of the Dominion. The barometer will probably rise fast everywhere soon, and very high pressure may be expected to follow." To-day's forecast states: "Southerly strong to gale prevailing. Heavy rain is to be expected, with" fivers' rising shortly. Snow on high country. The night will probably be very cold. Glass rising fast soon. Expect high barometric pressure. Sea considerable off shore; tides good."
