At the annual meeting of the Empire Parliamentary Association Mr Lowther, the Speaker, presided. Mr Bonar Law and Lord Emmott paid tributes to the excellent work of fostering closer relation's with oversea statesmen. Mr Lowther moved that the executive endeavor to arrange for twenty members of Parliament to accept the invitation to visit Australia this year. Mr Balfour, m .seconding the motion, said that the invitation was conclusive proof of the valfte of the association. •They should, by a delegation, make themselves acquainted with the feeling and aspirations of those carrying out the Empire* work overseas, and ' also carry to them, m concrete form, our goodwill and sympathy. The motion was carried.
