The secretary of the Waimumu Central Gold Dredging Company reports a return of 230z lOdwt for 131 hours. The return from the Enterprise No. 2 dredgeis 320 a 9dwt 18gr for 128 hours. The return from the Success dredge is 40oz Odwt 14gr for 130 hours. The Waimumu Gold Dredging Company obtained 17oz 12dwt for 105 hours' dredging. The secretary of the Spec Gully Gold Dredging Company reports a return^of 20oz 3dwt for 128 hours. ■■ The Waimumu Extended Dredging Company obtained a return of 21oz 13dwt for 119 hours. The Central Mataura Gold Dredging Company's return from No. 2 dredge is 21oz sc.wt 15gr for 126 hours. The secretary of the Inch Valley Gold Dredging Company reports a return of 31oz 4dwt for 134 hours. The dredgema&ter reports that the ground continues to be of the same character as that operated on for the previous three or four weeks, the "bottom being soft rock. The travelling drift, however, was very troublesome all week. He is now doing some necessary repairing, and hopes to get a fresh start early m the week. Ryan, Alexandra, reports- — Molyneux Hydraulic, 230z for week; Perseverance No. 2 dredge, 20oz 6dwt 9gr for four and a-half days. The top tumbler cheek broke on Thursday night, and the dredge was stopped, having a new tumbler put on. No. 1 dredge is overhauling. 'ihe dredgemaster of the Central Mataura (Mr J. M'Corkindale) reports- — " The return of 220z Bdwi; for 117 hours' dredging is not so good as I expected, but when we consider the 14 ■hours' stoppage, with buckets off the lower tumbler, it is very fair, and shaws how even the ground is running. Width of face, 5 chains ; ax'erage depth of wash, 10ft ; and average depth of stripping, 4ft. The secretary Teports a return of Boz for five days from the Shepherd's Creek dredge. The secretary reports that the return from the Lawrence dredge for last week was 16oz • lodwt for 130 hours. The rettirn from the Tuapeka dredge for last week was 220z 14dwt. Company (Limited) obtained last week 260z lOdwt of gold for 137 hours' work. The secretary of the Enfield Gold Dredging Company reports a return of 15oz for the week ending 27th inst. The secretary of the Happy Valley Company reports a return of 17oz sdwt for 120 hours. The dredgemaster of the Gold King dredge reports a return of 13oz 2dwt for 145 hours. The dredge has been frequently stopped owing to breakages, and has only worked about halftime for November.

Mr J. J. Ramsay reports the Waikaka United return for last week as 770z J>dwt amalgam, equal to 330z of gold.
