Messrs Dalgety and Co. report having held their usual weekly auction sal& on Monday before a full attendance of buyers. Bidding was fairly active, and puces obtained were fully equal to late rates. Oats. — The mark&t continues the same as lait week. Prime milling has a good inquiry, and bright heavy feed has also a fair demand, but other grades are not inquired for. We quote: Prime milling, 2s 4£d to 2s sd; good to best feed, 2s 3d to 2s Id; inferior to medium, 2s to 2s 2Jd (bags extra).

Wheat. — There is a strong inquiry for all prime samples, but there is very little offering. Medium quality is also more saleable at quotations, while fowl feed, which is very scarce, is readily sold. We quote : Prime, S3 10s to JE4 ; medium to good, £2 10s to £3 ss; infeiior, £1 to £1 10s per ton (sacks in). Chaff. — Prime oatan sheaf has not been offering so freely, and really good quality shows an advance of about 5s per ton. Other sorts are not in request.
