The Times'^ Sfc. Petersburg correspondent states) that the Manchurian negotiations between Russia and China are ended, Japan objecting.

The Daily Telegraph's Washington correspondent states that Russia, hoping to control Corea, urges Japan to negotiate for the possession of the Philippines instead.

The Czar has given an audience to Marquis Ito, formerly Premier of Japan.
