OLD WRITERS' WEEK.
LETTERS TO BE IN NOT LATER THAN TUESDAY, DECEMBER 17; TO APPEAR ON DECEMBER 25.
Dear Little Folk, — There have been several requests for another Old Writers" "Week, and as it is some time since old writers were given a special invitation to contribute, I have decided that we shall set aside our page m the "Witness of December 25 as an Old Writers' Week. Last time the qualification was not leug enough, so "on this occasion I think we had belter try a little mrther back. Tho ■writers who are invited to contribute are all old writeis who have retired from the page, and any writer who has been contubuting for not less than two ykars. I am afiaid thai; will shut out some of our bsst present-day writers, but that cannot be helped, as we really want this number for old writers.
DOT'S HOLIDAY.,
For reasons explained above, it will be ne-. ce3sary for L.F. to stop writing until after the New Year. "Will L.F therefore bear in inin-d that no letters are to be sent before Januaiy 8 (old writers' excepted), after which cur ordinary course will be lesurned. — Yours affectionately,
