GORE RACING CLUB
The Gore Racing Club is out with its programme for the Summer meeting, to be held on January 22 and 23 of next year. The principal event to be raced for during the fixture, which is, as usual, a two days' cae, is the Gore Cup, of bOsovs, and ran over a mile and a-quarter. There is lOsovs to go to the second hor3e from the stake. On the second day the principal race is the Racing Ciub Handicap, of 55sovs, the second horse to receive ssovs from the stakes. This race is to be run over a mile and a distance. There is a SOsovs Hurdle Race the first day, and one of 45sovs on the second. The New Year Trot, to be run on the first day of the meeting, is endowed to the extent of £50, aod there is one of 40sovs on the second day's card. In all, there are four Trots on the programme. The Flying Handicap, on the first day, six fur-longs, is worth 3560v5, and the President's Handicap, four furlongs, is worth 30sova. Taking it altogether, it is an attractive programme, and good nominations for the meeting may be confidently expected. Nominations for all events, including Trots, close on Saturday, December 28, and the handicaps will make their appearance on or about January 14.
