Our Gore correspondent telegraphs: — 2200 sheep were yarded. The demand was very keen. Best hoggets brought 10s 6d to 11s; good do, 9s to 10s- ; medium, 7s to 8s ; prime fat ewes. 12s to 13s; good do. 10s to 11s; good fat wethers, 14s 6d to 16s (in very small lots) ; breeding ewes, 11s; for good full mouth culls from 3s upwards. Sixty-two head cattle (mixed sorts) were yarded. Fat cows realised £4 10s to £3 103 ; heifers, £4; store cows, 30s to 50s ; dairy cows, £4 to £5 ; yearlings, 15s to 255; store steers, £4 to £5.
