CANTERBURY.
The winter show of farm produce, under the auspices of the Cheviot Settlers' Association, was opened on Thursday, and was very successful. There were 100 more entries than last year, and a marked improvement was shown in the quality. The Hon. W. C. Walker opened the show, and complimented the settlers on the excellence of the products brought forward.
