DREDGING RETURNS.

The secretary of the Magnetic Dredging Company reports a return of 2440z gold for five days' dredging. The manager telegraphs that the prospects are good.

The Matau Dredging Company obtained a return of 58oz for the past, week's dredging.

The past week's return for the Vincent was 450z 13dwt. Tho manager's message adds : " Ground keeping good. ' The secretary of the Golden Beach Hydraulic Elevating and Dredging Company (Limited) reports 420z 18dwt for 141 hours' dredging. Our Cromwell correspondent telegraphs that the return from the Alpine dredge (Riley's Beach) was 690z for last week.

The secretary of the Golden Point Dredging Company reports a return of 28oz gold for laßt week.

The secietary of the Chalto Creek Company reports a return of 30oz gold for five days. Our Alexandra coi'respondent telegraphs that the return from the Molyneux Hydraulic Company's dredge for last week was 20oz gold.

Tho secretary of the Nevis Gold Dredging Company reports a return of 370z gold for 136J hours' artual work during the week ending on Saturday. i

The Dunedin Stock Exchange report the following return for last week: — Golden Treasure Gold Dredging Company, 28oz lOdwt.

Mr Jabez Burton reports that the return from the Ettrick dredge ia 230z gold for eight days' work.

The Clyde Dredging Company's yield for last week was 18oz. The river is Ift 9in above the normal mark.

Mr C. S. Reeves reports the return from tho Sunlight dredge as Moz 9dwt, and the Enterprise return as 17oz 16dwt 9gr.

Tho Dunedin Gold Dredging Company did not wash up last week in consequence of the stoppage on Wednesday night doing some repairs to the engine.

The secretary of the Mauorburn Gold Dredging Company advises us that there was no return for last week, the dredge being laid up for her periodical overhaul. She was expected to get started again on Saturday. The Waimumu Gold Dredging Company obtained 230z gold for 121 hours' dredging last week.

The Dun slan Times reports that for the week ending 20th inst., the Maori, which is now undergoing renairs, leturued 9oz, and the Hartley and Riley yielded 6oz.

The Barrytown Flat Gold Mining Company obtained 1230z for four weeks' work.

The secretary of the Golden Terrace Dredging Company reports a return of 20oz 3dwt 15gr for week ended 26th inst.

The Upper Waipori Alluvial Gold Dredging Company (Limited) obtained last week 220 a Idwt of gold for 130 hours' dredging. The Jutland Flat (Waipori) Gold Mining Company (Limited) obtained last week 16oz 15dwt of gold for 144 hours' wage 3 time; ]36 hours' actual dredging. The Success Gold Dredging Company's return of gold last week was 360/ Idwt 6gr for 1372 hours' dredging.

The return of the Golden Gate Company's dredge for last week was 360z lOdwt. The Empire Gold Dredging Company (Limited), Waipori, obtained 17oz 13d\vt lGgr of' gold for last week.

The Evans' Flat dredge (Tuapeka) obtained 13oz, and the Tuapeka dredge 7oz lOdwt for last week.

Mr Callendcr, secretary of the Moonlight Sluicing Company (Limited), received a telegram from the manager, intimating that he had washed up for 58oz 14dwt.
