In the rush lowsrds.the golden field* of Iht Kiondyke there »re thousands who are, lll-fitted to stand the 'strain' cf hardship and exposure which are inseparable from that trip. Illness, disease, and -death' is almost certain to claim many of the ill-prepared adveiibarers. " Dear Sirs, — My objecb in writing this letter ia to give a word o? advice to those who contemplate going to the Yukon Goldfields. For 10 years I have followed the. occupation cf 'prospecting, timber-estimating, and mining, %nh the hardships and privations which one has to Undergo are enough to wreck the strongest; constitution. I a the spring ,of 1897 I was Btricken with pleurisy, as the result cf exposure. I recovered from this,' bub it lsfb behind the seeds ot dieease which manifested themsslveg in tbe form of heart; and kidney troubles. I managed to reach Vancouver, bi\6 did nob have tawjh hopes of recovering. I wag ftdvised, however, to give Dr Williams' Pick Pills a trial, and at first purchased but two boxes.
