KRUGER AND THE LONDON CONVENTION. Peetokia, May 16.
President Kruger stated, in the course of *•■ speech, at Pretoria, that if the interpretation of the. Convention by Mr Kotze, the late Chief justice of the Transvaal, be right, it will irisan the opening up of the boundary question again, and perhaps a drawing of the sword against Great Britain.
May 22. Abraham Fischer, unofficial member of the Executive Council of the Orange Free State, has been appointed Secretary of State for the Transvaal in succession to Dr Leys.
