In the second spell, which was thus begun with both teams on even terms, the pky was mostly confined to Mornington territory, and but for the good defence of Lang, thft score mint have been greater than it was. M'Donald and his inner wing men also played hard, starting nanny good rushes, which were, however, stopped each lime by the good play of Gilbert, Middlemiss, O'Connor, and M'Lelland.
