Novembrr 8. — Anniversary servicss were held in the We-doyan Church on Sunday afternoon and evening. The Rev. Mr Elliot officiated in the •ftet-noou and Mr 0. Roseveare, of Waiwera, in the-evening. Disturbins a Meeting — At the Police Court; on Saturday a young man named Scott was charged with causing a disturbance at one of the Salvation Army meetings held Ust Sunday. The accused pleaded guilty, and the informant, Cap~ tain Don, said that as^ the' accused had apologised and paid the co -ta incurred, he asked their worships to deal leniently with him. After consideration the accused was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence when called upon. Messrs W. M. Shore and W. H. Mackenzie wer« the presiding justices.
