FURTHER BANK .SUSPENSIONS.
New York, January 5. The financial crisis in the north-western States of America continues unabated. Saving* banks at; Omaha, White Hall End, Michieau, and three hank* at S*. Paul's, have suspended payment. Several bankers connected with the suspended banking institutions have committed suicide. January 6. Since the beginning of December, 28 banks and banking firms connected with the National Bank of Illinois have failed. The position of the, New York banking institutions is regarded as solid, and no fears are entertained of their stability.
