At tha wool sales to-day 8723 bales were ! offered, Riii 6589 were sold. The bidding w&» slack in the tatly parli of the day, bat improved in the afteraoou. The best classes of wool rneS with good oouipetition. The bulk of the merino was taken by the local mills.
