A GALLANT FEAT.

j Sydney, January 12. Daring the passage round from Melbourne a gallant feat was performed n- ■ boat's crew o£ the s.e. Orwnr. Daiiog -> heavy gale the Sjdney brig Pbillis signalled that there was a scarcity of food aDd that the crew were starring. A boat was immediately lowered from the Orient and provisioned, and after ft great utruggle with the mountainous seas reached the brig. It was found the crew had been without food for firo daje. After great difficulty the provisions were hauled on board the brig, and then the perilous trip back to the stsamer commenced.
