Tokomaibiko.— Only nine members of tha Brace Anglers' Association competed Cor tba prizes presented by Messrs White and Bastings on Saturday. Tha weighing in took placo at the White Horse Hotel at 9 o'clock, in the presence of a large number of spectators, and amidst much excitement Mr James Chisholm was declared the winner with 151b 13Joz of fish, he beating Mr Walsh by only an ounco. Mr Chiaholm, therefore, takes Mr White's prize, Mr Walsh the sweepstake, and Mr D. Gordon secures the dozen of stout presented by Mr Bastings for the largest fish. Following is tho result :—
Loyell's Cbeek.-— Jancea Nelson on Saturday last caught 51 trout weighing 401b ; and on Monday up till 3 o'clock lie had landed 47 weighing 301b.
