The raport of the Kaitangata Itailwayand Coal Company for the year ended 31st August shows a balance to the credit ol profit and loss of £11(53 3s 3d. The directors recommend that a dividend at the rate of 10 per cent, per annum for the six months ending 31st August, be declared, absorbing £1250; that AJIOOJ be, written off mining -works and £1000 off railway -works a= depreciation, and the bal.uu;e of £1213 Us 3d carried forward.
