ARRIVAL OF THE SAN FRANCISCO MAIL.

The City of New York left San Francisco on -June 10, having been detained, in the first until June 6 by the nan-arrival of the •English mails, due to the City of Brussels breaking her shaft, necessitating a return to yueenstown, where the mails were transhipped to the Pavonia, whih arrived at New York oh •May. 30; secondly, unexpected repairs were required to her own machinery. She reached •Honolulu on June 17, and Auckland at 9.30 a.m. to-day. Her New Zealand passengers are — ■ W. J Meaver, C. B. Low, Rev. and Mrs L. -J±. Buxton, Miss Austin.
