TAIERI BEACH.

Juno 29. AcorDBNT.— A, serious accident happened at the Taieri Bea^h Sawmill on Monday atternoon, by which Andrew Campbell, a youug man employed about the mill, nearly lost his life. He was carrying a heavy piece of timber, and walking along a log at the same time, when he fell with his face upon the log and the piece of timber on the back of his held. His skull was seriously fractured abovo the right eye, extending almost to the left temple. In spite of the serious nature of his injuries he never quite lost consciousness, and ia now to all appeaiance on the fair way to recovery.
