QUEENSLAND.
The Brisbane Conrier has been served with a writ, claiming nearly L9OO damages, for neglecting to keep the name of the Compnny posted outrade the office. The informer is Mr Hall, a member of Parliament. Parliament was prorogued on September 29th until November. It will probably meet next May. A boat with four Chinamen was picked up near Cape Tribulation. They are said to have been sent without food or water from a beche-de-mer station, to find Cooktown.
