INTERPROVINCIAL FOOTBALL MATCH.
The following 18 players have been selected to commence active practice for the forthcoming match with Canterbury, viz., Messrs A. Cargill, Crawshaw, Dixon, Duder, James, Mills, Murray, M'Kinnon, M'Lean, A. Nichol, P. Nichol, Rose, Smith, Sweet, Thomson, Turton, Westonra, and Winks. The list comprises ten Dunedin, seven Union, and one country player, and from them the Otago Fifteen will be chosen. We learn by telegraph from Christchurch that the following have been selected to practise for the football match with Otago :— Messrs Bolton, Evans, Field, Leach, Lewin, Millton, Parker, Smith, E. Chapman, E. Cotterill, W. Hartland, H. Longhman, A. Oilivier, L. Ollivier, and T. Barker.
