CRICKET.
A match between the second eleven of the Dunedin Cricket Club and the first eleven of the Albion Club was played on the ground of the former on Saturday, and resulted in a victory for the Dunedin men. Some very fine play was exhibited on both sides, the bowling of the Dunedin being rather loose. The stumps were drawn at half-past six o'clock. The following are the scores :—: —
The match arranged between the Citizens' and the North Dunedin Clubs came off on Saturday on the around of the former, and resulted as will be seen by the scores below in aa easy victory for the Citizens.
In the second innings of the Citizens, when time was called, six wickets had fallen for 99 runs, of which number Goxhead and Ferguson contributed 30 and 25 xespectively.
