INVERCARGILL STOCK SALE.
Tuesday, Nov. 28. The Invercargill Stock Agents report having held their fortnightly sale this day. The yarding of fat cattle included some very good quality and for such there was brisk competition, although beef was scarcely as daar as the previous sale. " Fat Cattle— l 64 yardtfd. Best heavy bullocks to Lll 10s, good 'Lll to" L 9, light L 8 10s to L 7 10s, speyed'beifers and cows L Bto LG. . :,'.-/- Store cattle.— 2s2 yarded. The only sorts enquired for were forward steers and dairy cows just as profit, others were very dull of sale. '■■ ;- Fat sheep. — 500 penned and sold at last sale's rates. Wethers and maiden ewes, heavy 263 to 245, good 23s to 21s, shorn do 19s to 16s 6d,' fat lambs 16s Id to 14s, Store sheep— 3oo penned, mostly ewes an! lambs of ordinary quality and these brought late rates.
